Simple pricing for Buffalo photo scanning
| What you have | Price |
|---|---|
| Photo prints, 1–1,000 | $0.20 each |
| Photo prints, 1,001–2,000 | $0.18 each |
| Photo prints, 2,001 or more | $0.15 each |
| 35mm slides (cardboard or plastic mounts) | $0.35 each |
| 35mm negatives (film strips) | $0.35 each |
| Private cloud delivery | Free |
| USB drive | $20 |
The $50 minimum applies to your combined scanning total, so prints, slides, and negatives can go in one order. Polaroids and larger prints are priced like regular photo prints. Most projects take 5–10 days, about a week on average.
Loose photos are the fastest and most affordable option. If your photos are in albums, Dan can help. Album projects may take extra time depending on whether photos are removable or stuck to the pages, so he'll talk it through with you first.
A local handoff, a personal point of contact
Dan works from his home studio in nearby Hamburg. Text a photo of your boxes or albums to discuss local drop-off or pickup by appointment. Pickup and drop-off are free in the Hamburg and South Buffalo area, and $10 each way elsewhere in Western New York. Availability is confirmed before booking.
Every print is scanned at 600 DPI with a free enhanced copy included. Your originals are returned, and your files arrive by free private cloud link or optional USB drive.

How Buffalo customers usually start
Text Dan a quick picture of your boxes, albums, slides, or envelopes. You don't need an exact count. He can usually give a practical next step: whether to leave the photos in order, whether albums need extra handling, and whether local pickup or drop-off makes the most sense.
Do you come to Buffalo?
Yes, local pickup and drop-off are available by appointment around Buffalo and Erie County. Pickup and drop-off are free in the Hamburg and South Buffalo area, and $10 each way elsewhere in Western New York. Dan confirms availability before booking. Customers farther away can use mail-in photo scanning.
Can I mix photos, slides, and negatives?
Yes. They go in one order and count toward the same $50 minimum. See slide scanning and negative scanning for details.
Will my photos stay in order?
Tell Dan how your photos are grouped and whether the order matters, and he'll talk through the best way to handle it before scanning.
Ask what your Buffalo photo project would cost.
No pressure. A quick text with a photo of the boxes is often enough to get started.
